Why It's a Good Idea to Include Your Dog in Your Seattle Family Portraits

Your puppy dog is a legit member of your family. They probably even get to sleep in your bed and eat treat you don't even give to your kids. How can they NOT be in your Seattle family photos?

At the Happy Film Company we are extremely dog friendly. We love including all the furry pets in our casual and fun Seattle family portrait sessions. Having your dog in your portrait sessions keeps the energy upbeat and laid-back. This is perfect if you are looking for natural family photos. Playing with your dog during your family photo shoot is a great way to get lots of playful candid portraits and help the kids stay entertained and happy.

We do ask that dogs are either on-leash or well-trained off-leash during the photo shoot. Obviously, we only want to work with dogs that are friendly around strangers - we don't want to have to claim liability insurance issues because dogs attacked our lovely photographers! We also recommend bringing treats and dog toys so we can grab your dog's attention. We do our best to make sure that we always get a great portrait of your puppy (without people in it hehe) because there's nothing quite like a big wet nose bumping into our camera lenses! We love it!
