Seattle Family Photography in the University of Washington Quad

The University of Washington is one of the most beautiful campuses in the world with a view of Mt. Rainier, a quad full of cherry trees, a giant red brick square and architecture up the yin-yang. For the Neel family's Seattle family photo shoot with the Happy Film Company this month, we played in the quad. A couple months ago the quad was sparkling with pink cherry blossoms but now it's summer and the leaves are bright green. Little Jude wanted to stand in the grass beneath these trees and suck on his thumb. That was it. No matter how much we tried to play with soccer balls, run around, fly in the air or cuddle on the bench...he just wanted to sit there and suck suck suck away on delicious little fingers. Lucky for him, his parents are super cool and the quad is such a beautiful location that it wasn't a problem for me. I ran around in circle capturing the pretty sunshine and trying to get him to look at me with even the tiniest of smiles. It's something about those toddlers dude, that makes camera work extra challenging. I'll see you next year buddy and we'll see if you're up for a game of tag or something with a bit more energy. haha Thank you so much Neel family for a beautiful family photo shoot. I look forward to our next shoot together and I hope you have a wonderful summer. :) -- Chamonix & tHFC Ladies
