Seattle Family Photography City Locations: Volunteer Park - Capitol Hill

Can you believe it's been a year since we took the Peterson family's maternity and newborn photos? For this special photo shoot we explored Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill. We played tag under the trees, climbed inside the giant doughnut statue (that has a cool view of the Space Needle) and sniffed the pretty flowers. My favorite moment was when Gwendolyn learned how to do jumping jacks and then she counted off and led her parents in a jumping jack marathon!

If you're looking for Seattle family photos in the city with a touch of nature, Volunteer Park has got all the charm and greenery you could dream of. There are beautiful flower bushes, giant leafy trees, and huge grass fields you can run across. Plus, there's the glass conservatory full of exotic jungle and desert plants (perfect for rainy days).

Thank you so much Peterson family for a year full of happy photos! I hope to continue capturing your playful silly moments as the kids grow bigger! Lots of springtime love -- Chamonix & tHFC Ladies
