Playing with Shells on the Beach - Hood Canal Family Photography

I packed up my little convertible, made sure my camera was fully charged and set off on a roadtrip to Hood Canal. I got to spend the weekend camping in the wilderness all because the wonderful Tsuchikawa family invited the Happy Film Company out to the Puget Sound waterfront for their very special Hood Canal Family Photography session. It was an honor to take these photos and I'd like to pass the mic to Aimee (the lovey Tsuchikawa family member and returning client to tFHC) who booked this shoot:

Q: If someone were hesitating to book a shoot with the Happy Film Company, what would you say to them?
A: My mom has been battling pancreatic cancer for the last 2 years and there's been so many ups and downs, but the love that we share as a family has been a constant. I deeply treasure each moment we spend as a family and having photos taken by the Happy Film Company during our family vacation was the best decision I've ever made. I know we'll be able to look back on these pictures for years to come and remember the fun, laughter and love we shared on this trip.

Q: What is your happiest memory from your photo shoot?
A: My dad being a complete goofball. He was just yelling out random stuff as he was skipping rocks on the water so he could be photographed in his most natural state. I also loved seeing my parents together. It's so rare to see them show any type of affection towards each other but they held hands, hugged and kissed for the shoot and the photos turned out adorable.

Thank you so much Tsuchikawa family for choosing the Happy Film Company to be your Seattle family photographers. It was beautiful working with you this time and I look forward to your next shoot. xx Chamonix
